Master's first album was originally recorded in 1985 for Combat Recordings but eventually shelved.
In 1990 the album was recorded at Morrisound with Scott Burns but Nuclear Blast didn't approve this recording and had the band re-record the album again. As it turned out the third recording (which was eventually released as "Speckmann Project") was also not approved by Nuclear Blast and the first Morrisound recording was remixed instead.
The 2008 and 2011 CD and vinyl reissues both contain the original mix remastered.
